It’s not absence of free-will. It’s rather that the influence is very
strong. Think of it this way, a group of friends are drinking, the
non-drinker will be forced to drink due to their influence. But it’s not
exactly absence of free will.

Another question is about Kalki's appearance and in general about avAtaras.

Brahman alone being real is at the paramarthika level. In vyavahara isvara
takes forms for dusta sikshana and shista rakshana. It’s his duty to do so.

Let the passage be. The gist of all descriptions of kaliguga is that it
will be difficult to follow dharma. But by easier methods such as nama
japa, etc one can attain sreyas.
