Namaste Bhaskar ji.
//Please give corresponding kArika reference.//
तस्मान्न जायते चित्तं चित्तदृश्यं न जायते ।
तस्य पश्यन्ति ये जातिं खे वै पश्यन्ति ते पदम् ॥ २८ ॥
You can check the bhAshya of this kArikA 4.28.
//One small question how pot thought would arise all of a sudden without
seeing some object outside!!??//
Just like in dream pot-thought arises all of a sudden without seeing some
object outside.
//Why I am not able to think about snake in shukti, rajata in rope??//
For the same reason you were not able to think in your dream about snake in
shukti, rajata in rope.
There is a beautiful statement in siddhAnta-lesha-sangraha - अत्र च
सम्भावितसकलशङ्कापङ्कप्रक्षालनं स्वप्नदृष्टान्तसलिलधारयैव कर्तव्यम्।
All possible doubts are like mud which should be washed away by the
water-stream of dream-analogy.
And waking is dream - there is no difference whatsoever.
//And this statement : thought itself is object, how it is different from
vijnAnavAda??//
Upto this much, advaita (DSV) agrees with VijnAnavAda as explained in 4.28
bhAshya. However, advaita goes on to posit singular reality which is not in
consonance with vijnAnavAda.
Regards.
P.S. I did not reply to your last post as it appeared completely fruitless
to me. Hope you don't mind.
