Please note that entire work of VArtikakAra has been consistently explained
by Anandagiri Swami. Also, VArtikakAra is quoted as pramANa by VivaraNa
AchAryAs.

So, we see VArtikakAra as affirming material causality of avidyA. Directly
and irrefutably. SSS' followers will need to stretch the limits of their
fertile imagination to explain BBV 1.4.371 in any other fashion.
