[Advaita-l] nṛsiṃhatāpinyupaniṣat - māyā cāvidyā ca svayameva bhavati

I was reading the nṛsiṃha uttara tāpinyupaniṣat recently and came across
the below quote at the beginning of the 9th Khanda.

तद्यथा वटबीजसामन्यमेकमनेकान्स्वाव्यतिरिक्तान्वटान्सबीजानुत्पाद्य तत्र तत्र
पूर्णं सत्तिष्ठत्येवमेवैषा माया स्वाव्यतिरिक्तानि पूर्णानि क्षेत्राणि
दर्शयित्वा जीवेशावभासेन करोति माया चाविद्या च स्वयमेव भवति

By saying Maya and avidyA exist by themselves I think the Sruti is clearly
pointing to an anAdi vastu not having a cause of its own here.
