I think I got your name right this time! :)

I don't know much about Sri SSS writings as a whole to make a judgment to
be honest. All the AchAryas that I am aware of use the terms ajnAna and
avidyA synonymously. In the absence of evidence to the contrary, I will
assume Sri SSS is doing the same.

bhAvarupA ajnAna / avidyA, according to us, is adhyasta. Therefore the more
important point is that there is no harm to advaita with an adhyasta ajnAna
/ avidyA, as it is not a second entity - it is superimposed itself, and
therefore subject to adhyAsa.
