Geeta teaches us that we have fight adharma - instead of remaining as doormats for others to step on. We will not have much voice to fight unless the prestigious religious leaders with following take the lead. Besides the Mathadipaties we have many others who have lot of followings. They have to take the lead and act. Otherwise, the Govt uses the caste system to divide the Hindus and take advantage of that.

Thank you Sadanandji for raising this issue for us.

We need to fight under one banner.Are we Hindus ready to sink our differences?Are we willing to sacrifice our goals and time for a greater cause?
Do we see the issue as adharma happening to us or do we cover ourself under the umbrella of indifference, in the name of tolerance?
Does the shastra say that it is the duty of every Hindu to fight by all means when it comes to adharma or are the brahmin, vaishya and sudras waiting for the kshatriya ( I don't know how one classifies them in today's world) to begin the journey while they sit by the sidelines.
We are busy intellectually fighting dwaita, advaita, vishishtadvaita and more.
The enemy knows our weakness.

PraNams to everybody. I realize this post may be irrelevant to the theme of Advaita. After seeing Shree Jayanarayanan's post, felt like writing this appeal - to see how other members can suggest any better means to solve this nagging problem. 
Problem: We have many temples all over India, particularly more so in the South. Devotees put a lot of money into the Hundi as part of their offerings. The major problem is State Govts take all that money and spend for their use or give it to Churches and Mosques and none goes back to the temple. In the famous Tirupati Tirumala Devasthanam, where a lot of money gets collected in the Hundi, the state govt not only takes but also has appointed all Christians for managing the temple since the CM is Christian. Only Hindu temples are under State Govt but not other religious centers such as Mosques and Churches. State Govts do not take their money nor manage those. Question remains -How to stop this nonsense?
My suggestion is all the heads of the Hindu religion, particularly Mathadipaties should organize as unit and raise this issue first to appeal to the state govt. and also appeal to all Hindus to protest against this injustice to sanatana Dharma. 
I am not sure how the member feel, recognizing that this is unrelated to Advaita, nevertheless in a way affect all of us. 
As a Hindu what course of action is appropriate for the religious heads to protect our temples?

It is a matter of joy for all Astikas that after a struggle of about five centuries, the Prana-pratishtha is to take place in the
beautiful temple constructed for Bhagavan Sri Rama in the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Kshetra of sacred Ayodhya on Pushya Shukla Dvadashi
(22-1-2024).
 
It has been noted that during such an occasion, certain ill-wishers of our Dharma have used the name of "www.dainikjagran.com"
in social media to spread a post, which carries a photo of Dakshinamnaya Sringeri Sharada Peethadheeshwara,
His Holiness Paramapujya Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji and conveys that the Sringeri Shankaracharya
in a message has expressed displeasure over the Prana-pratishtha.
 
However, the Sringeri Shankaracharya has not given any such message. This is merely a false propaganda by ill-wishers of our Dharma.
All Astikas are hence requested to disregard such false propaganda and take note of what has only been published by the official website
(www.sringeri.net) and official social media platforms of the Sringeri Sharada Peetham.
 
It has to be noted here that on the occasion of Deepavali (12-11-2023), the "sharadapeetham" youtube channel of the Peetham had
published the message of the Sringeri Jagadguru conveying that all Astikas engage in the chanting of the Rama Taraka Mahamantra
keeping in mind the upcoming Prana-Pratishtha at Ayodhya. Accordingly, Astikas have been chanting the Mahamantra in large numbers.
 
His Holiness Sringeri Shankaracharya has conveyed blessings that every Astika must suitably take part in this most sacred and
rare Prana-pratishtha and be a recipient of the unbounded grace of Bhagavan Sri Rama.
