adhyAsa is anAdi as it is natural and in lOka vyAvahAra since anAdi kAla, but how come it is Ananta?? Are we not going to have the right cognition of rope and say now I have the knowledge of rope and my misconception about rope is gone now!! Is it not end of the adhyAsa with regard to rope!!?? As soon as there is dawn of knowledge that I am secondless brahman my katrutva, bhOktrutva bhAvana go away is it not the end of my adhyAsa with regard to my svarUpa!!?? If that is the case why bhAshyakAra says evamanAdiranantO naisargikOdhyAsO mithyApratyayarUpaH. Sri SSS's clarifies in one of his works : Here some people may ask : that which is a pratyaya (concept) how at all can it be anAdi and ananta?? For this the answer is : As long as vyavahAra exists, either agrahaNa or anyathAgrahaNa and its saMskAra invariably exists. That is all that is meant by this sentence. In this context the fact that this very meaning of interpretation should be reckoned is pointed out by the following bhAshya vAkya in bruhadAraNyaka. Beejaankuravat avidyAkrutaH saMsAraH Atmani kriyAkAraka phalAdhyArOpalakshaNaH anAdiranantOnarthaH.

Hari Hari Hari Bol!!!
