The Doctor is certainly the possessor of all the knowledge concerning your problem. He is not the possessor of the problem itself !!

Yes, that is reason why Ishwara is not the possessor of avidyA (problem) but knows our problem.  Hence shvetAshwatara calls him karmAdhyaksha, karmaphaladAta and with the same breath sAkshi cheetah kevalO nirguNascha.  Just doctor knows the problem of patient but he is NOT the possessor of patient’s problem.  IMO knowing and possessing (owning/having) are entirely two different things.
