disciple of Mani Dravid Shastri) offering a critical assessment of
Bellamkonda Ramaraya Kavi's interpretation of the Antaryāmi Brāhmaṇa.
Maheswaran argues that Bellamkonda's exegesis deviates from established
Advaita siddhānta. While acknowledging Bellamkonda Ramaraya Kavi's literary
prowess and contributions, Maheswaran contends that his commentary does not
fully align with traditional Advaita sampradāya hermeneutics

Such interpretive deviations likely account for why scholars representing
alternative Vedāntic traditions do not place Bellamkonda Ramaraya Kavi's
compositions on par with definitive Advaitic works like the Advaita-siddhi
and other foundational texts of comparable stature within the sampradāya.
