[Advaita-l] A few Vedantic ideas present in the Charaka Samhita and Sri Chakrapani’s commentary thereon

The Charaka Samhita is a very ancient Ayurvedic text. On perusing portions
of the work, we realize that it contains considerable Advaitic tenets. This
reveals that the author of the Charaka Samhita was a Vedantin himself;
otherwise his thoughts would not be expressed in such a manner.

In this article, several portions of the text and the commentary of Sri
Chakrapani (of the 10th or 11th century), have been culled out to indicate
the references to Vedantic tenets.
