You want to know Advaitha or Visishtadvaitha?You have referred to Sri Ramanuja.Advaitha as propagated by Sri Adhi Sankara is based onthe upanishad Vakyas Aham Brahmasmi( Bruhadharanya Upanishad,Yajur Vedha)And other three equivalent Upanishad Vakyas :Thath thwam  AsI (Chandogya Upanishad Sama Vedha)Ayam Athma Brahma ( Mandukya Upanishad Atharvana Vedaha)and Prajnam Brahma.( Thaithriya Upanishad Rig Vedha)
That is there is Brahman only and nothing other than that.What is seen is just Maaya Kalpitham.
And explanations are vividly given by Sri Acharya in His various pronounciations .Hope it gives you some idea about Sri Advaitha Siddhartha.
