[Advaita-l] What is the meaning of Tapa-Traya( Three kinds of distress)

The three are:  Aadhyaatmika, Aadhibhautika and Aadhidaivika:  1. Distress
of the body and mind (disease, etc.), 2. Distress caused by animals,
robbers, etc. 3. Distress caused by natural forces such as earthquakes,
tsunami, etc.
