Wow! This is wonderful news.  I literally just finished rudrabhishek for 
the first day of shravana five minutes ago and I'm reading this.

Those who have only joined recently may not know this but Vidyashankar is 
one of the founders of advaita-l and the creator of the Advaita Vedanta 
home page.  Not only is he a profound scholar of traditional Advaita 
learning, his insights have  been frequently cited in Academic works too.

His presence here has been sorely missed so I hope we will hear from him 
soon.
