*जीवतैव हि देहेऽस्मिन् दृष्टं द्रष्टव्यदर्शनम् । *
*ध्वजं रघूतमस्येह समारूढं समुन्नतम् ॥१॥ *
While living in this very body, I have seen the Sight that was to be
seen—the flag of the best of the Raghus (Śrī Rāma) raised here, standing
high.

*अहो भाग्यमहो पुण्यं नैव चिन्तितमेव यत्। *
*राममन्दिरनिर्माणपूरणं मम जन्मनि ॥२॥ *
Oh, what good fortune, what great merit—something never even imagined— that
in my own lifetime the construction of the Rāma temple has been completed.

*समुच्छ्रितं ध्वजं यद्वत् सिन्दूरारुणसुन्दरम्। *
*तद्वत् समुच्छ्रितो भूयाद् धर्मोऽस्माकं सनातनः ॥३॥ *
Just as the flag, beautiful with its vermilion-red hue, is raised high—so
may our Sanātana Dharma also stand uplifted and exalted.

*करसेवक-साधूनां पपात रुधिरं भुवि। *
*समारूढध्वजेनाद्य केसरेण स्मराम हि ॥४॥ *
The blood of the noble kar-sevaks fell upon the earth. Let us remember that
today, as the saffron flag has been raised.

*धर्मकेतुः सतां सेतुः येन पेतुर्दुराग्रहाः। *
*मातुस्त्वयोध्यानाम्न्यां तु शोभते शिखरस्थितः ॥५॥ *
The flag of Dharma, the bridge of the virtuous, by which stubborn evils
were overcome.It now shines upon the temple’s summit in Ayodhyā, the city
named after our Mother.

*कोविदारेण सूर्येण प्रणवेन सलाञ्छनः । *
*हिन्दुधर्मध्वजोऽस्माकं सादरं प्रणिपत्यते॥६॥ *
Marked by the Kovidāra tree, the sun, and the Pranava (ॐ),our flag of Hindu
Dharma is respectfully saluted.
