The Bhagavadgita also states that seeking a secluded spot is a means to Brahma jnana. Furthermore, the Jnani spends time in such spots to savor the bliss of the Jnana-attainment.

>  If I remember right that story, Raikva was living under bullock cart is it not??  I reckon 'secluded spots' would carry more philosophical meaning than its literal meaning as bhagavadpaada himself gives the example of dharmavyAdha, vidhura, janaka etc. who were very much living in the society.  More often resting in shAnta, mouna state of mind amidst the cacophonies of loukika jagat may depict the secluded spots within ourselves.
