[Advaita-l] 'Difference' is due to 'upAdhi'

Namaste.

In the Brahmasutra Bhashya 'ata eva chopamA sUryakAdivat' (3.2.18) Sri
Shankaracharya quotes a passage as follows:

//....जलसूर्यकादिवदित्युपमोपादीयते *मोक्षशास्त्रे* -

(shruti
reference not given anywhere)

[This is reminiscent of the

Thus there is ample proof in the Upanishads for the fact that differences
are aupAdhika. The first quoted shruti is quoted by Jiva Goswami (Gaudiya
Vaishnava) also in his ‘satsandarbha’ commentary on the Srimadbhagavatam. He
also marks it as a shruti.

Is there any clue as to which shruti the first quoted passage in the BSB
above belongs? It surely must be from a shruti as Shankara says:
*Have any other Acharyas quoted this Shruti/passage?
