Here are some points to be noted:
2. In the above Bh.Gita verse/bhashyam it is said that the Lord really
does not accept anyone's sin or good deeds. Then, why do people engage in
pUja, yAga, dAna, homa, etc. that are good deeds? It is due to their
ignorance: 'I am a doer, enjoyer/experiencer of my karma and will also make
others experience.'
3. For the eradication of ignorance stated above, one should get samyak
jnAnam of the form 'I am not a doer/enjoyer at all periods of time' as
stated in the BSB 'pUrvasiddha kartRtva bhoktRtva viparItam hi.....'
4. This is called by the special Bh.Gita name: naiShkarmyam.
5. The Bh.gita itself says:
6. Thus, the means to attain to the state of naiShkarmyam, our true
nature, is by engaging in niShkAmakarma AcharaNam. This is called karma
yoga in the Gita.
7. This is the path taught by the Vedanta to attain absolute freedom
from ignorance: naiShkarmya siddhiH.
