namastE. praNaams to all learned-seniors. Friends:
In all humilitude, let me must first express my heartfelt gratitude towards all those who felt the need to think on those issues as triggered by my signature line; here the one being referred to being the second statement therein. For my thoughts, you may kindly refer to the URL links associated with those lines. However, i may not have much to add in terms of any fruitful discussion, rather i may get to learn a lot by being a silent participant, as is usually the case.
To push ourselves to think further, let us look at the first quarter of that second statement, for example. Let us assume that you are the domain knowledge expert. Suppose, four new-born infants/babies, each one born of parents from each of the four varNas [assuming no varNa-sankara etc.] are brought to your presence. What kind of tests would you perform on them to enable you to confirm & declare the varNa of each of them? What does the SAstras say on this [of course, let me confess that i am ignorant of the SAstras and of any such system of tests] except to declare probably that each does have a human body - effectively a 'jantu' meaning a jIva that is born etc.
