The method / prakriya to know that he is Brahman 
is also very simple and direct. ButI do not know how many scholars and members 
of this group agree with this.

Simple answer for this is - one who does not know that He is Brahman (or Sakshi of all), obviously is ignorant of this fact and he has this ignorance. Once He knows, then the question becomes irrelevant from his point.
