In the Mahabharata, in the Sabha parva, here are 2 instances of discrimination against sudras -

1. It is mentioed that no sudra was present near the inner altar of Yudhisthira's sacrifice.

2. When killing Sisupala, Krishna (who else!) says that the former once proposed to Rukmini, but could not obtain her, just as a sudra cannot obtain a hearing of the vedas.
