Dear Sri Ryan,
As per a kannada work on Sri Bhagavatpada's life history, which claims that
it is based on the work Shankara Digvijaya by Swami Vidyaranya Swami,
Totakacharya was the first Pontiff of Badari Mutt in the North, Swami
Hastamalakacharya of the Dwaraka Mutt in the west, Swami Padmapadacharya of
the Puri Mutt in the East and Swami Sureswaracharya of the Sringeri Mutt
in the South
Regards.
