विदुर नीति says:

द्वावेव न विराजते विपरीतेन कर्मणा । 
गृहस्थश्च निरालम्भः कार्यवांश्चैव भिक्षुकः ॥

There are 2 types of people who would never be recognized by people by on account of their
contradictory roles. A grihastha who doesn't carry out his householder duties and a sanyAsi who is immersed in worldly affairs.

When the two paths get intermixed, the confusion arises and both slip in their journeys.
