vEda do asserts that yajamAna prastara (this darbha grass is yajamAna).
Note that this is an identity statement. One cannot take literal meaning of
this statement and conclude chEtana yajamAna is same as jada grass. Because
of this kind of bAdha exists for  the shabda prastara's vAchyArtha, its
lakshyArtha should ONLY be considered.
