Sruti  says  Atmata  Eva  idagaM  sarvaM || Chandogya 7-26-1

The Shruti here has nothing to do with sannyAsa, the topic being discussed.

Whoever

  has  the  sincere  longing  for  Atmajnana  is

The ochre robe is not for Atma, its for body, and the body has varNa, etc.
