When you think of the word 'pervasion' with respect to inert objects, it
may help if you consider the following.

Vividly imagine a rose. This rose you imagine, is pervaded by your
(subjective) consciousness.  It is inanimate but is pervaded by
consciousness 'borrowed' from you. It is temporary. When you next imagine a
mountain, the rose goes away. But the mountain you are now imagining is
again pervaded by that same consciousness.

We can extend this observation and note that 'my' consciousness pervades
all objects imagined by me. Even inert objects imagined by me are pervaded
by consciousness. They have no separate existence apart from my conscious
imagination of them.

Now consider your experience of your dream. There are many inert objects in
your dream as well.

What is the stuff that dream objects that you experience in dream are made
of? What is the stuff that your own dream body is made of? Is that stuff
that dreams are made of, located at any particular place in your dream or
is it everywhere? Is that stuff that your dream is made of, separate from
you?

You pervade your entire dream world of living and non-living things.

Om
Raghav
