[Advaita-l] How can Brahman/consciousness be all pervading including living and non living things?

Namaskaram. Adding to this discussion, I wish to point out that you will find answers to the questions raised in Sri Adi Sankaracharya Bhagavadpada in his work Aparoksha Anubhuti. Sri Bhagavadpada has explained painstakingly with numerous metaphors the verse from Viveka Chudamani, (which is also another work of Sri Bhagavadpada)- Brahma satyam jagat mithya, jivo brahmaiva naparah - Brahman is the only truth, the world is unreal, and there is ultimately no difference between Brahman and individual self. I am currently listening to Swami Sarvapriyanandaji’s exposition on Aparoksha Anubhuti, which I would encourage interested members.
