[Advaita-l] The Lord's names that purify us and Hari-Hara abheda - Narada Puranam

In the Narada purana there is a chapter where the purifying nature of
chanting the Lord's names is detailed. There, apart from the names of
Vishnu, these names of Shiva are also mentioned.
शिव शंकर रुद्रेश नीलकंठ त्रिलोचन।
इति जल्पंति ये वापि कलिस्तान्नापि बाधते॥ ४१-१०१
Shiva, Shankara, Rudra, Isha, NilakanTha, Trilochana - those who even utter
these names will be untroubled by Kali.
महादेव विरूपाक्ष गंगाधर मृडाव्यय।
इत्थं वदंति ये विप्र ते कृतार्था न संशयः॥ ४१-०२
Mahadeva, Virupaksha, Gangadhara, MRDa, Avyaya - those who utter so are
liberated without doubt.

शिव एव हरिः साक्षाद्धरिरेव शिवः स्वयम् ।।
द्वयोरन्तरदृग्याति नरकारन्कोटिशः खलः ।। १५-५८ ।।
Shiva alone is verily Hari and Hari is Shiva himself. The wretched one who
thinks the two are different attains countless hells.
तस्माद्विष्णुं शिवं वापि समं बुद्ध्वा समर्चय ।।
भेदकृद्दुःखमाप्नोति इह लोके परत्र च ।। १५-५९ ।।
Hence worship Vishnu and Shiva knowing them as one. One who differentiates
attains misery here and in the yonder world.
