Vedanta paribhasha which is almost exclusively concerned with epistemology
of Advaita Siddhanta is currently considered to be the authority as far as
advaita epistemology is concerned. It is much later to texts like Advaita
Siddhi, Siddhanta Bindu etc wherein also advaitic epistemological issues
are addressed in part. The postulates expressed in VP are considered to
supercede views expressed in all earlier advaitic texts as far as advaitic
epistemological issues are concerned.
