Not sure if I am missing out on that. But the AvaraNa aspect of avidyA

Why do you feel so? What exactly is AvarNa? It is nothing but
avidyA-chit-sambandha and it refers to the yogyatA of AvaraNa-kritya.
.......अस्ति प्रकाशत इत्येतद्व्यवहाराभावो वा आवरणकृत्यम् । आवरणं च
#तद्योग्यता #अज्ञानसंबन्धरूपा.
Equating avidyA to nAma-rUpa-bIja/mAyA/avyAkrita does not militate against
the AvaraNa-shakti of avidyA.
I am unable to understand the reason for your remarks.
