Namaskaram Acharya ji,

I believe you are referring to Shri Mani Varadarajan ji. I have seen some of their correspondences in the old Bhakti archives.

Shri Vidyasankar ji, through his emails on Advaita list, is one of my gurus. In terms of his clarity of thoughts and directions I consider him next only to my guru Swami Chinmayananda ji. I do miss his messages and consider myself unfortunate to not be able to interact with him directly.

I have downloaded and saved several of his messages from the archives. Some of his articles that have significantly deepened my understanding of Advaita, particularly to better understand Swami Sankaracharya’s bhashya, includes the excellent series on Anandamayadhikarana and his reappraisal of yoga in Advaita (part of a published book).

My sashtanga namaskarams to him and pray to Lord Sriman Narayana for his health and recovery.

with humble prostrations,
Vikram
