[Advaita-l] what is the technical definition of Drik in Advaita?

The problem with shuddha chaitanya being drik is -- there is nothing to be
seen for shuddha chaitanya. And drik necessarily needs drishya. Because it
is the seer. It needs "seen" for its very definition.

Hence, drik has to be sAskhI. And sAkshI is defined as
avidyA-upahita-chaitanya.

Shuddha chaitanya is drik-without-drik-hood, sAkshI-without-sAkshi-hood.
drik-hood, sAkshi-hood are products of ignorance.
