You have misunderstood my intention in that mail.  I just asked Sri Jaishankar prabhuji to read Sri SSS when refuting his works instead of going by what his followers say (i.e. including me).  It is just like follow shankara not vyAkhyAna when shankara is available 😊 Don’t you think Sri SSS making this justifiable call after seeing the internal quarrel between bhAmati and vivaraNa??  He ( Sri SSS) makes couple of observation before emphasizing why only shankara and why not vyAkhyAna.  He clarifies wherever in any given context if there is any difference of opinion among the vyAkhyAnakAra-s, we should stick to the original and understand the purports in his own sentences.  And we should stick to the works that representing genuine sampradaya siddhAnta and take the other works which aimed to establish Advaita siddhAnta on the basis of mere logical devices and just to appease the dualists and  their objections in its own stride.  Please note he humbly acknowledges the contributions of post shankara Acharya-s and their scholarships, their respect to saMpradAya etc.  But at the same time asks us to 'go back to shankara' when those vyAkhyAnakAra-s themselves, who are the official flag bearers of tradition, who are the sAmpradAyik desciples do not accept one another's interpretation or opinions.  I do think advising us to go back to moola is definitely a legitimate call from Sri SSS when those vyAkhyAnakAra-s fighting each other in the name of shankara siddhAnta.
