  The topic of the debate is :

  The exposition of bhAvarUpa aGyAna using anumAna in the
  panchapAdika vivaraNa as quoted in the nyAyAmR^ita.

  Namely :

  vivaraNoktam.h bhAvarUpAGYAnasAdhakam.h  ---

  pramANaGYAnam.h svaprAgbhAvavyatirikta svanivartya svavishhayAvaraNa
  svadeshagata vastvantarapUrvakam.h | aprakAshitArthaprakAshakatvAt.h |
  andhakAre prathamotpanna pradIpaprabhAvavat.h |  -- iti anumAnam.h |

  Opinions discussed in nyAyamR^ita its commentaries and supportive
  texts (like taraN^giNi, kanTakoddhAra, saugandhyA, kalAdhara and a
  host of other dvaita works) would be discussed.

  Similarily the views of the authors of Advaitasiddhi its commentaries
  and supportive texts (like laghu chandrika, guruchandrika,
  siddhivyAkhya, gauDabramhAnandi, nyAyAmR^itavimarsha,
  saugandhyavimarsha) would also be discussed.

  Scholars from the advaita, dvaita and vishishtadvaita schools have
  been invited.
