नमस्ते
इन्द्रियाणि पञ्च घ्राणरसनचक्षुःश्रोत्रत्वगात्मकानि । सर्वाणि चेन्द्रियाणि
स्वस्वविषयसंयुक्तान्येव प्रत्यक्षज्ञानं जनयन्ति । तत्र
घ्राणरसनत्वगिन्द्रियाणि स्वस्थानस्थितान्येव गन्धरसस्पर्शोपलम्भान् जनयन्ति ।
चक्षुःश्रोत्रे तु स्वत एव विषयदेशं गत्वा स्वस्वविषयं गृह्णीतः,
श्रोत्रस्यापि चक्षुरादिवत्
परिच्छिन्नतया भेर्यादिदेशगमनसम्भवात् । अत एवानुभवो "भेरीशब्दो मया श्रुतः"
इति । वीचितरङ्गादिन्यायेन कर्णशष्कुलीप्रदेशेऽनन्तशब्दोत्पत्तिकल्पनायां
गौरवम् । "भेरीशब्दो मया श्रुतः" इति प्रत्यक्षस्य भ्रमत्वकल्पनायां गौरवं च
स्यात् । तदेवं व्याख्यातं प्रत्यक्षम् ।
