[Advaita-l] Basic concepts of anumAna-pramANa

Hari Om respected members,

anumAna-pramANa holds a pivotal place in the advaita epistemology. A clear
conception thereof is required. The view of VedAnta as distinguished from
that of NyAyA should also be clearly understood. I have prepared a write-up
which is primarily based on VedAnta ParibhAshA commentary by Panchanan
Bhattacharya ji and Swami Vidyananda Giri ji. All concepts of VedAnta
ParibhAshA present in anumAna-parichchheda have been covered in the
write-up. Relevant section from VivaraNa regarding the siddhAnta position
of anumiti-karaNa is also covered.

Some other useful keywords frequently used in advaita discussions have also
been covered in the write-up at the fag end.
